Australian rock band Kisschasy is hitting the road this June to celebrate the first-ever vinyl release of their acclaimed album, Hymns for the Nonbelievers.
Originally released in 2007, the album reached #5 on the ARIA Album Chart and featured popular singles like “Opinions Won’t Keep You Warm at Night,” “Spray on Pants,” “Strings and Drums,” and “Ugly Birds in a Beautiful Cage.”
In Melbourne you’ll be able to catch them on 21 June at The Forum
Formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 2002. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas, and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. After disbanding in 2015, they reunited in 2022 and continue to perform live.
The band said in a statement: “Our last tour proved that the special connection we have with our fans is alive and stronger than ever.”
“We’ve been counting down the minutes until we can get back onto the stage and there’s no better reason than having our second album Hymns For The Nonbeliever released on vinyl for the very first time. As a band we are tighter and more focused than we’ve ever been, and these shows will be proof of that. There may even be some surprises.”
The tour will feature special guests Sly Withers and Suzi, promising a nostalgic experience for fans.
