Critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and TV personality, Alan Davies, is delighted to announce an extensive Australian tour for November and December 2025, unveiling his brand new show, Think Ahead. It marks his first visit to Australia in a decade – notwithstanding a guest star role on Have You Been Paying Attention last year!
He’ll be performing at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren on 28 November and at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda on 29 November.
Davies is a beloved British comedian, actor, and writer best known for his quick wit, curly hair, and everyman charm. He gained fame playing the quirky magician-turned-detective Jonathan Creek in the BBC mystery series of the same name, which showcased his talent for combining humor with drama.
Davies is also widely recognized as the permanent panellist on the hit BBC quiz show QI, where his playful banter and occasional bafflement provide the perfect foil to the show’s intellectual tone.
Born in Essex in 1966, Davies started his career in stand-up comedy before branching into television, radio, and writing. His memoir Just Ignore Him offers a candid and moving look into his early life, further endearing him to fans. Whether on screen or stage, Alan Davies brings warmth, intelligence, and understated humour to his work, making him a cherished figure in British entertainment.
