Thirsty Merc are turning up the heat this summer with the launch of their biggest tour in years — a massive 31-date national run dubbed Summer Live 25. The tour will take the beloved Aussie rockers to towns and cities across the country, celebrating more than two decades of hits and high-energy performances.
Victorian fans will be able to catch them in Ballarat, Richmond, Barwon Heads, Torquay, and Warrnambool.
The band took to Instagram to share the news: “31 shows Australia wide will bring on the sweet times and hot nights – featuring a setlist packed with hits ‘20 Good Reasons’, ‘In The Summertime’, ‘Tommy And Krista’, ‘Mousetrap Heart’, ‘The Good Life’ and many more!”
Formed in 2002, Thirsty Merc quickly earned a reputation for infectious hooks and heartfelt songwriting. Their debut album and breakthrough single ‘In The Summertime’ put them on the map, while follow-up releases like Slideshows (which hit #4 on the ARIA Charts) cemented their status. Though it’s been a decade since their last album, the band remains a fan favourite thanks to dynamic live shows and a catalogue of enduring radio hits.
Tickets are on sale now via Thirsty Merc’s website — and they’re sure to go fast.
