This winter, prepare to be transported into a world of glowing wonder as Lost, the breathtaking art installation by celebrated Australian artist Amanda Parer, lights up Bunjil Place in Narre Warren.

A free, family-friendly experience from 11-27 July, Lost transforms the familiar into the extraordinary with towering, illuminated sculptures of endangered and extinct botanical species from around the globe.
Inspired by the whimsical scale of Alice in Wonderland, Lost invites visitors to shrink in spirit and explore a surreal landscape where oversized flowers and foliage bloom with radiant colour.

Each sculpture is delicately lit and carefully detailed, evoking a dreamlike encounter with nature’s forgotten treasures. These glowing giants are not just beautiful — they are a poignant reminder of what the planet has already lost and continues to endanger.
As twilight settles over Bunjil Place, the installation becomes a beacon of art, storytelling, and environmental awareness. Families, art lovers, and curious wanderers alike are encouraged to walk among the luminous flora and reflect on the fragile beauty of the natural world.
