Australian rock icons Boom Crash Opera are hitting the road for their biggest tour in decades, marking their 40th anniversary with a 20-date national celebration.
The Hands Up In The Air – The Singles Tour will see the band perform all their classic hits from October to December, including ‘Dancing In the Storm’, ‘The Best Thing’, and their signature anthem ‘Hands Up In the Air’.
In Victoria they’ll be playing gigs in Brunswick, Richmond, Torquay, Warrnambool, Castlemaine and The Palms at Crown.
Fans will also get a first taste of new music, with the band debuting ‘Latest Hustle’—their first single in nearly three decades.
The current lineup, featuring original members Dale Ryder (vocals), Peter Farnan (guitar), and Peter Maslen (drums), along with bassist John Favaro, will be joined by special guests Nick Barker and Models on select dates.
Since forming in 1985, Boom Crash Opera have cemented their place in Australian music history with six studio albums and 13 ARIA Top 50 singles. Fresh off supporting Roxette and touring with 1927 earlier this year, the band is ready to deliver another electrifying run of shows packed with nostalgia and fresh energy.
