Queensland wellness institute the Soak Bathhouse has officially opened its first Victorian location in South Yarra, bringing its award-winning wellness experience to Melbourne.
Located at 10 River Street, just off Chapel Street, this 700-square-metre urban oasis offers a range of rejuvenating amenities, including large mineral pools, hot spas, a dry cedarwood sauna, steam rooms, and cold plunge pools, all set amidst lush greenery.
In addition to communal bathing, guests can indulge in private wellness treatments such as infrared saunas, LED facials, and full-body massages .
Soak Bathhouse is a family-owned Australian wellness brand founded in 2020 by Gold Coast locals Niki and Alexis Dean.
The couple, balancing demanding corporate careers and family life, sought a more accessible and affordable way to incorporate wellness into their daily routines. This led to the creation of Soak Bathhouse, aiming to offer “micro wellness” experiences that are both convenient and rejuvenating.
The flagship location opened in Mermaid Beach, Queensland, in November 2020. Designed as a modern urban oasis, it featured communal mineral pools, hot spas, saunas, steam rooms, and cold plunges. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to the opening of a rooftop spa in Brisbane’s West End in 2022.
