Jebediah, one of Australia’s most enduring and beloved rock outfits, is celebrating three decades of indie anthems, cult hits, and zero lineup changes with a national tour and fresh vinyl drops.
Announced this week, the THIRTY ODYEARS tour will hit stages around the country this October and November, including two special homecoming shows in Perth. Melbourne fans can catch them at The Croxton on Saturday 18 October.
“For us I believe it’s mostly got to do with the fact that we were already friends before the band started… so the secret… has been wanting to keep the band together for reasons that are more than just about the music,” said frontman Kevin Mitchell.

It’s a sentiment that echoes through Jebediah’s loyal fan base, many of whom grew up with their punchy choruses and unforgettable hooks.
From Jerks of Attention to Harpoon, Teflon to Leaving Home, the Perth four-piece have soundtracked sweaty mosh pits and coming-of-age moments for 30 years ,now they’re curating a setlist that digs even deeper.
“It’s time for us to curate a set of songs that aren’t just a parade of singles,” Mitchell said.
The tour coincides with a series of reissued albums on translucent vinyl, including The Murmur Years and a string of releases making their vinyl debut. Bonus: fans can also expect rare demos and digital B-sides.
“It’s really for us and the hard-core fans to enjoy,” says Mitchell. “A place for all this archival stuff to sit publicly.”
Oh, and a documentary? “There might be a Jebediah documentary released soon,” Mitchell teases.
