Grampians wineries are heading to Melbourne this August with a new event series that brings the region’s bold reds and elegant whites into the heart of the city.
Grampians in a Glass is a three-week tasting takeover of North Melbourne’s Bobbie Peels, reimagining the cellar door experience with interactive sessions, exclusive back vintages, and a chance to meet the winemakers behind some of Victoria’s most distinctive drops.
Running across three Wednesday nights – August 6, 13 and 27 – each session offers a rotating line-up of wineries, from beloved family producers to big names like Mt Langi Ghiran and Seppelt. Expect premium pours, generous grazing platters, and a “wine personality quiz” to help you uncover your perfect Grampians match.
“This isn’t your average wine event,” says Lucy Black from Grampians Wine. “We’re creating an experience that’s relaxed, interactive and genuinely personal – just like a visit to one of our cellar doors, but in the heart of the city.”
Whether you’re loyal to cool-climate Shiraz, tempted by a textured Riesling, or just looking for a fresh midweek plan, Grampians in a Glass is the perfect excuse to dive into one of Australia’s most characterful wine regions—without leaving Melbourne.
Tickets include tastings and access to all interactive stations. Bookings: events.humanitix.com/grampians-in-a-glass
