Get ready to belt out every word – Ed Sheeran is coming back to Australia. Frontier Touring and MG Live have announced the global superstar’s long-awaited return down under with his all-new Loop Tour, rolling into stadiums across Australia and New Zealand from January through March 2026.
Melburnians will be able to catch him over two huge nights on 26 and 27 February 2026 at Marvel Stadium.

Ed Sheeran is one of the most successful singer-songwriters of his generation, with a career marked by record-breaking hits and global acclaim. Since his 2011 debut album +, he has released a string of chart-topping records including x, ÷, and =, selling nearly 200 million records worldwide.
Known for his heartfelt lyrics, loop pedal mastery, and genre-blending sound, Sheeran has earned multiple Grammy Awards and Brit Awards. His 2017 single Shape of You became the most-streamed song on Spotify and Apple Music, cementing his status as a streaming powerhouse. Sheeran continues to sell out stadium tours and evolve creatively.
Sheeran’s new era kicks off with Play, a technicolour pop album inspired by Persian and Indian music traditions, infused with his Irish folk roots. The album drops Friday 12 September, and fans can expect a setlist packed with fresh tracks like Azizam, Sapphire and Old Phone, plus all the chart-topping singalongs we know by heart.

After smashing attendance records in 2023 – including 200,000 fans across two nights at Melbourne’s MCG – Sheeran returns with next-level staging, new visuals, signature loop pedal magic, and those unforgettable acoustic moments that make his shows so personal, even in a crowd of 60,000.
He’ll kick off in New Zealand (Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch — his first time there in 11 years), before heading to Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. With more than 2.5 million tickets already sold across Australasia and a Spotify following of 100 million monthly listeners, this tour will be massive.
Frontier Members presale begins Monday 28 July, with general tickets on sale Tuesday 29 July (check frontiertouring.com/edsheeran for staggered times and full details). Anti-scalping measures are in place, and tickets will only be available through official ticketing partners.
Expect big production, intimate moments, global influences and Ed Sheeran doing what he does best — uniting stadiums full of strangers through song. This is more than a concert. It’s the start of a bold new chapter.
