Flinders Lane has a new star on its already glittering dining strip – Lexy, the high-glamour modern Asian fusion restaurant that promises to be far from ordinary. Open now, Lexy blends bold flavours, striking design, and a sense of theatre that redefines what dining in the city can be.

The latest venture from acclaimed owner and chef Ken Leung, Lexy follows the success of Cha Ching, his first restaurant that reimagined Asian cuisine. With this new space, Leung has taken his vision even further.
“Lexy is designed to be a sensory journey. From the moment you walk in, every element is meant to captivate and inspire, making each visit feel like an event,” he says.

The interiors, designed by Tom Orton and Kim Lai of We Are Humble, are just as much a part of the experience. Think infinity wall, brushed silver, tan suede, mirrored ceiling and sculptural lighting – futuristic yet intimate. The 80-seat venue also features a private enclave and a four-seat chef’s table for those who want front-row action in the open kitchen.

The menu, crafted by Head Chef Oak, is storytelling through flavour. From sambals to dashi, each dish fuses tradition and creativity with fire-led cooking on the Josper oven.
Standouts include Lexy’s Seafood Platter, X.O. Rock Lobster, Truffle Mushroom Dumplings, Seared Black Cod and a Margaret River Wagyu Flank M9.

“Every dish brings something familiar but with a bold new twist. It’s built to be shared, talked about, and remembered,” says Chef Oak.
At the bar, the focus is on sustainability and innovation, with a zero-waste philosophy, inventive cocktails, rare spirits and rotating sake to pair with the menu.

Lexy is open Tuesday to Saturday at 377 Flinders Lane. More at lexymelbourne.com.au.
