Evanescence are set to bring their signature blend of gothic rock and symphonic drama back to Australia, this time stepping away from stadium stages and into intimate venues built for raw intensity.
Ahead of joining Metallica on their colossal M72 World Tour, the band will play just three headline shows: Perth’s Metro City on 30 October, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on 7 November, and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on 14 November.
For Melbourne fans, the 170 Russell date promises a rare chance to see Amy Lee and company up close. Known for her soaring vocals and haunting piano lines, Lee remains the band’s driving force more than two decades after their breakthrough.
Since Fallen exploded in 2003 with global hits like Bring Me to Life and My Immortal, Evanescence have stood apart by weaving heavy guitars, orchestral textures, and theatrical flair into something uniquely their own.
While Fallen became a cultural landmark, certified Diamond in the US and securing multiple Grammy Awards, Evanescence have continued to evolve across five studio albums. From the anthemic Call Me When You’re Sober to the orchestral reworkings of Synthesis and the grit of 2021’s The Bitter Truth, the band has constantly shifted shape while staying true to their dramatic core.
Tickets will go on pre-sale Thursday 11 September at 10am local time, with general public access from Friday 12 September at 10am via Destroy All Lines.
