Melburnians have a chance to step inside the jury box as The Jury Experience: An Immersive Courtroom Case opens at St Kilda Town Hall this October.
Created by global live entertainment platform Fever, the 60-minute theatrical production transforms audiences into jurors in a trial where the verdict is in their hands.

Set in a meticulously designed courtroom inspired by the American legal system, the show blurs the line between theatre and reality. Participants are not passive spectators – they hear witness testimonies, scrutinise evidence, and deliberate as a collective before casting the final vote: guilty or innocent.
Each session plays out differently, with decisions shaping the story in real time and building to a tense climax.

The case at the centre of the production puts artificial intelligence on trial, thrusting audiences into one of today’s most urgent ethical debates. With an AI-driven vehicle implicated in a fatal accident, jurors must weigh responsibility, accountability and the limits of technological autonomy. The scenario challenges participants to grapple with moral uncertainty in a way few live shows attempt.
The Jury Experience reimagines the live show format by combining interactivity, narrative depth, and emotional intensity into an unforgettable experience, with the production is designed to provoke discussion long after the verdict is delivered.
Sessions will run on October 17, December 27, January 17, February 7 and April 11, with shows at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Tickets start at $49 and are available now through Fever.
