Disco legends Boney M will return to Australia one last time, announcing The Final Curtain Tour for April next year and giving Melbourne fans three chances to farewell one of the genre’s most enduring groups.
Led by original member Maizie Williams, the group will perform their biggest hits at The Forum across three consecutive nights on Saturday 4 April, Sunday 5 April and Monday 6 April. The tour promises a full live band and a setlist stacked with era defining singles including Rasputin, Daddy Cool, Sunny, Rivers Of Babylon, Ma Baker, Gotta Go Home and Brown Girl In The Ring.

Formed in West Germany in 1974, Boney M became a defining force of the disco boom, releasing eight albums between 1976 and 1985 and selling more than 150 million records worldwide.
At their peak, they were among the most successful groups in Europe, clocking eight number one singles in Germany and two in the UK. Their influence has carried well beyond the genre’s heyday, with their tracks resurfacing across films, television and social media, and Rasputin returning to global charts in recent years.
While the lineup has evolved over the decades, Williams has remained a central figure in carrying the group’s legacy to new audiences. The upcoming tour marks their final run of shows in Australia, giving long time fans and younger disco converts a rare chance to experience the group’s high energy performance style in person.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Friday 12 December at 10am AEDT, with general public tickets available from Monday 15 December at 10am AEDT. More details can be found at metropolistouring.com.
