Eighties pop royalty is heading back our way, with Kim Wilde confirming her 2026 Australian run, The Kim Wilde Closer Tour.
For local fans, it’s a welcome return. Wilde scored three number one mega hits here with ‘Kids In America’, ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’ and ‘If I Can’t Have You’, alongside a string of Top 40 favourites including ‘Cambodia’, ‘You Came’, ‘View From A Bridge’ and ‘Chequered Love’. With her unmistakable voice and effortless cool, she became one of the defining pop stars of the decade.
In Victoria, she’ll be performing at The Palais Theatre in St Kilda on Saturday 21 November and Costa Hall in Geelong on Sunday 22 November 2026.

Across her career, Wilde has sold more than 30 million records worldwide and remains the most successful British female artist of the 80s. Beyond music, she even picked up a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show, proving there’s more than one string to her bow.
The 2026 tour will see Wilde play a string of theatre dates across the country this November, kicking off at the Astor Theatre in Perth on Wednesday 18 November. From there she heads to Brisbane’s Tivoli, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, Costa Hall in Geelong, The Gov in Adelaide, Civic Theatre in Newcastle, Enmore Theatre in Sydney and wraps up at Canberra Theatre on Sunday 29 November.
Australia has had a long running love affair with Kim Wilde since the 80s and 90s, and this tour looks set to tap straight back into that energy.
