KT Tunstall will return to Australia and New Zealand in May 2026 to mark the 20th anniversary of her multi-million-selling debut album, Eye To The Telescope. Fans will hear the 5x platinum record performed in its entirety, offering a rare chance to relive the magic of a defining era.
The Scottish singer-songwriter is no stranger to local audiences, having recently supported Train in stripped-back duo mode on their national tour in May this year.
In Melbourne, she’ll be playing at Northcote Theatre on 24 May 2026.

Released in December 2004, Eye To The Telescope became an international breakthrough, powered by hits like Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and Suddenly I See. The latter cemented its place in pop culture when it soundtracked the opening scene of The Devil Wears Prada and later earned Tunstall an Ivor Novello Award.
Other tracks, including Universe & U and Other Side of the World, reached global audiences through placements in Grey’s Anatomy, helping the album surpass four million sales worldwide.
Known for her commanding live presence, Tunstall’s shows weave loop pedals, powerhouse vocals and humour into a performance that feels intimate and electric all at once.
Reflecting on the anniversary, Tunstall said: “When I made my very first record, Eye To The Telescope, it never crossed my mind where I might be when it turned 20. It was a fantastically scrappy album to make, with very little money and a handful of musician friends. Over the years, I’ve been told the most amazing stories of what these songs mean to people all over the world… it’s been a beautiful thrill.”
