Melbourne audiences are set to be dazzled once again when Cirque du Soleil returns with KOOZA, its breathtakingly acrobatic and joy-filled production opening under the Big Top at Flemington Racecourse from 20 May 2026.
Following the record-breaking success of LUZIA in 2024 and this year’s triumphant national tour of CORTEO, the globally renowned circus company will bring its signature mix of spectacle and storytelling to three Australian cities – Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

KOOZA is a show that celebrates traditional circus in its purest form, blending high-stakes physical feats with the mischievous art of clowning. The result is an adrenaline-fuelled journey that explores themes of fear, identity and discovery through awe-inspiring performances.
The production is described as a “circus in a box” — a world of wonder packed with daring acrobatics, rich costumes, colourful sets and the electric energy that has defined Cirque du Soleil for four decades.
Duncan Fisher, Chief Show Operations Officer for Touring Shows at Cirque du Soleil, said, “Australia has always welcomed Cirque du Soleil with open arms. After the record-breaking success of LUZIA under the Big Top last year and the hugely popular arena tour of CORTEO this year, it’s clear that audiences in Australia have an enduring love for Cirque.”
“KOOZA is one of our most breathtaking productions. A pure celebration of acrobatics and humor that reconnects us with the origins of Cirque du Soleil. Audiences can expect heart-stopping stunts, incredible artistry and the kind of joyful energy that makes Cirque du Soleil so special,” he said.

Since premiering in Montréal in 2007, KOOZA has performed more than 5,000 shows in over 70 cities worldwide, captivating nearly eight million spectators. With an international cast of 56 artists, a six-piece live band, and more than 175 dazzling costumes, the production combines live music, visual theatre and human daring in spectacular harmony.
The Melbourne season of KOOZA begins 20 May 2026 under the Big Top at Flemington Racecourse. Cirque Club members can access presale tickets from 11 November, with general public sales from 13 November at cirquedusoleil.com/kooza.
