It’s official. Tame Impala is heading home. Following the release of his fifth studio album Deadbeat, Kevin Parker has announced four major arena shows across Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth this October.
Melbourne fans will be able to catch Tame Impala at Rod Laver Arena on 14 October 2026.
It marks the Australian leg of a new global run that has already seen the newly expanded six piece touring band sell out 12 North American dates, with UK and European shows about to kick off.
Released in late 2025, Deadbeat signalled a bold new chapter for Parker. Led by singles ‘Loser’, ‘End of Summer’ and ‘Dracula’, the record delivered his biggest US radio debut yet, with ‘Dracula’ landing at number three in this year’s triple j Hottest 100, almost two decades after Tame Impala first appeared in the poll.
Created between Fremantle and Parker’s Injidup studio Wave House, the album leans into a crunchier, more minimal sound, balancing spontaneity with the meticulous detail he’s known for. February also saw Parker take home a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for ‘End of Summer’, his first solo win.
Joining Tame Impala on all Australian dates is fast rising electronic artist Ninajirachi. The Central Coast producer had a breakout 2025 with her debut album I Love My Computer, picking up the Australian Music Prize, two J Awards and three ARIA Awards.
Across InnerSpeaker, Lonerism, Currents and The Slow Rush, Parker has become one of the most influential figures in modern music, collaborating with artists from Dua Lipa to Kendrick Lamar and racking up billions of streams worldwide.
Frontier Members can access presale tickets from Wednesday 25 February, with general public sales opening Friday 27 February.
