With the start of the winter season upon us, Uniqlo is offering Melburnians an opportunity to pick up a free item of clothing from its HEATTECH thermal range through an immersive product experience at Emporium Melbourne on Thursday 6 June.
A giant HEATTECH shirt installation will be on the ground floor of Emporium Melbourne, allowing customers to test the warmth of their current winter wardrobe by walking inside to receive a digital ’thermal’ image of themselves that visually showcases the warmth their current clothing provides.
Customers will then enter their details to receive their thermal image and a voucher to pick up a free HEATTECH item from the Uniqlo Emporium store. There are 2,500 items up for grabs, while stocks last. So it will be a case of first in, best dressed – quite literally! Customers will also be encouraged to upload and share their image to Instagram with #StayWarm to enter the competition to win one of two $500 Uniqlo vouchers.
Uniqlo’s innovative HEATTECH technology was developed 20 years ago in Japan and launched 10 years ago in the Australian market, specifically designed to make winter wear less bulky without compromising on warmth and style. The range is updated each year and is one of the brand’s leading categories globally.
The bespoke fabrication not only retains heat but generates warmth, with 11-micron fibers to capture the energy of water particles released from the body at the nano level and convert this energy into heat.
HEATTECH is available with three different levels of heat retention – standard HEATTECH Jersey, HEATTECH Extra Warm and HEATTECH Ultra Warm.
The HEATTECH shirt installation can be found on Thursday 6 June 2024 from 10am-7pm (while stocks last) at Emporium Melbourne, Ground Level, 287 Lonsdale St, Melbourne (At the entrance on Lonsdale Street between Nespresso and Genesis Motors).
