Renowned Grammy Award-winning bluegrass artist Billy Strings is set to make his highly anticipated Australian debut in July 2025. The tour will feature three major performances along the east coast. Melbourne fans will be able to catch him at Margaret Court Arena on Tuesday 15 July.
Strings will be showcasing his latest album, Highway Prayers, released in 2024. Produced in collaboration with Jon Brion, the album achieved a historic milestone by debuting at number one on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart—the first bluegrass album to do so in 22 years.
Hailing from Michigan and now based in Nashville, Strings has garnered significant acclaim in the bluegrass community.His accolades include Best Bluegrass Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards for his sophomore album, Home, as well as Artist of the Year at both the 2022 and 2023 Americana Music Awards.
