The newly upgraded Wyndham Cultural Centre in Werribee will celebrate its grand reopening on 5 July with an unforgettable night of music featuring two of Australia’s most dynamic acts. King Stingray and Electric Fields will take the stage for a historic first performance in the revitalised venue, marking a new era for arts and entertainment in Melbourne’s west.
This special one-night-only event brings together two powerhouse bands that have taken the Australian music scene by storm.
King Stingray, the Northern Territory group that blends rock’n’roll with traditional manikay (songlines), comes fresh off multiple ARIA and AIR Award wins for their groundbreaking debut album. Their performance promises to deliver the same raw energy that earned them the 2023 Australian Music Prize.
Joining them are electronic soul duo Electric Fields, fresh from representing Australia at Eurovision 2024. The multi-award winning act, described by Vogue as “movers of the next gen”, will bring their mesmerising live show to Wyndham, showcasing why they’ve become one of the country’s most sought-after live acts.
The 3.5-hour show (including interval) offers an all-ages opportunity to experience world-class entertainment in Wyndham’s state-of-the-art new performance space. With both acts known for their electrifying stage presence, the reopening concert promises to be a landmark cultural moment for the western suburbs.
Tickets for this not-to-be-missed event are expected to sell quickly.
