After selling out shows across the globe, Australia’s beloved comedy queen Celeste Barber is bringing her wildly popular Backup Dancer tour to hometown crowds – including nine regional cities she’s never performed in before.
Fresh off her triumphant 2024/2025 world tour, which spanned the US, UK, Europe, and beyond, Barber will light up stages across regional Australia this August and September as well as in Sydney and Melbourne for special encore performances.
Victorian fans will be able to catch her at Hamer Hall and in Ballarat,
“I’ve been around the world with this show, but nothing beats performing at home,” Barber said.
“I have so much history with so many of the regional places I’m bringing Backup Dancer to, and I can’t wait to get out there and see my girls all over the country,” she said.
The show, a whirlwind of social satire, cringe-worthy personal stories, and Barber’s lifelong fantasy of being Janet Jackson’s backup dancer, has already had nearly 100,000 fans in stitches worldwide.
