Celebrating 21 years in music, acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko has revealed The Double Feature Tour for 2025 – a unique concert experience where she’ll perform her debut album The Overture & the Underscore (2004) and follow-up What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have (2006) in their entirety.
The three-time ARIA winner will be accompanied by her longtime band members David Hunt, David Symes, Laurence Pike and Neal Sutherland for these special shows. Melbourne fans can catch them at the Melbourne Recital Centre on 12 September.
The announcement coincides with the first-ever vinyl release of both albums on September 5, featuring bonus tracks including rare B-sides.
Blasko’s career spans seven studio albums, including last year’s critically praised I Just Need to Conquer This Mountain, collaborations as part of Seeker Lover Keeper, and compositions for Bell Shakespeare productions. Her 2006 album earned the ARIA for Best Pop Release, cementing her status as one of Australia’s most distinctive voices.
Pre-sales begin June 13, with general tickets available June 17 via sarahblasko.com.
