Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are returning home. The legendary band has confirmed a 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour in support of their 18th studio album, Wild God.
The run will see Cave and his long-time collaborators perform songs from the critically acclaimed release alongside tracks spanning their four-decade career.
“I can’t wait to get to Australia and New Zealand with The Bad Seeds and to bring you our epic Wild God show,” Cave said. “It’s been a long time coming, and I’ve missed both Australia and New Zealand very much. It will be a wild and mighty joy.”
For Melbourne fans, the band will play three massive nights at Alexandra Gardens – Friday January 30, Saturday January 31 and Sunday February 1. Tickets go on sale 10am local time, Friday August 29 via NickCave.com.
Cave last toured Australia with the Bad Seeds in 2017 behind Skeleton Tree. Since then, he’s returned twice in stripped-back formats: first with Warren Ellis on Carnage, then solo with Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood.
Wild God landed in August 2024, debuting at number two on the ARIA chart and earning a nomination for the Australian Music Prize.
