An all-new theatrical spectacular is set to premiere in Melbourne, reimagining one of the most beloved stories of all time with a dazzling circus-meets-musical twist.
Running from 4 October to 1 November at The Alex Theatre in St Kilda, Oz: The Cirque Experience brings together world-class circus performers and mainstage musical theatre stars for a show that promises breathtaking stunts, soaring vocals and an immersive production that’s perfect for all ages.
Leading the cast is vibrant musical theatre talent Elena Atanasovski (Footloose: The Musical) as Dorothy, alongside internationally acclaimed Dan Price (Cirque Du Soleil, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Tinman, and Bede Nash (Circus Oz) as Scarecrow. Jonathan Nash-Daly, a multi-skilled performer who recently hosted at Brisbane’s Pink Flamingo cabaret club, takes on the enigmatic role of the Wizard.
