Get ready to dance – British electronic icons Basement Jaxx are heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2026, marking their first full live tour in the region in 15 years.
The duo – Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe -have played DJ sets across Australia in recent years, but this time they’re turning up the volume with the complete Basement Jaxx live experience. Known for genre-defying hits like Where’s Your Head At, Romeo and Do Your Thing, the pair’s return promises an electrifying mix of beats, brass and boundless energy.
The tour kicks off in New Zealand at Christchurch’s Electric Avenue Festival on 27 February before heading across the Tasman to Brisbane’s Riverstage (1 March), Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (3 March), and the Sydney Opera House Forecourt (5 March). Melbourne fans will get their turn on Saturday, 7 March, when Basement Jaxx light up the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, followed by an appearance at Golden Plains Festival on 8 March and a final show at Fremantle Prison on 11 March.
