Melbourne’s favourite day dedicated to all things bubbles is back, with the 9th annual Prosecco Festival set to return to the stunning Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 28 February 2026.
The one-day festival invites Prosecco lovers to sip, stroll and discover more than 50 different Proseccos from leading Italian and Australian producers. Guests will have the chance to meet growers, winemakers and importers while tasting a wide range of styles, from crisp and refreshing to fruit-forward and complex.
This year’s line-up includes Italian names such as Babo, Bandini, Belussi, Calneggia Family Vineyards, Cipriani Bellini and Tivo Spritz. Australian producers include Dal Zotto Wines, Brown Brothers, De Bortoli Wines, Innocent Bystander, Santa & D’Sas, Tar & Roses, Taylor Ferguson and Vino Intrepido, with more to be announced. Van Di Vino, Australia’s original Prosecco and Spritz Bar, will also be pouring throughout the day.
Edenvale Wines joins the festival as the official alcohol-removed sparkling and wine partner, offering inclusive options for sober-curious guests and those seeking an alcohol-removed alternative. Dal Zotto, pioneers of Australian Prosecco in Victoria’s King Valley, return as the official Prosecco partner.
Food is a major highlight, with Italian and local favourites including arrostocini, panzerotti and arancini, all designed to pair perfectly with a glass of bubbles. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
VIP ticket holders can enjoy a guided Masterclass hosted by the Prosecco Queen, Melissa Brauer, complete with tastings, antipasto and a Spritz on arrival.
Tickets are available here and include a Plumm tasting glass, unlimited tastings, a tote bag and more. This is an adults only event, making it a must-book summer date for Melbourne’s Prosecco fans.
