Australia’s own comedy heavyweight Jim Jefferies is heading back home in 2026, bringing his internationally acclaimed Son of a Carpenter tour to arenas and theatres across the country this July and August.
The run kicks off in Sydney with multiple nights at the Enmore Theatre from 4 July, before rolling through the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Bendigo, Geelong, Wollongong, Canberra, Western Sydney, Newcastle, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Cairns. It marks his biggest Australian tour to date.

After selling out venues across North America and Europe, Jefferies returns to home soil with a show that has already earned praise for its fearless storytelling, biting social commentary and brutally honest takes on life, family and the modern world.
“Coming back to Australia with this tour feels massive. I’ve been yelling at Americans and Europeans for the last 2 years now, so it’s only fair I come home and yell at you lot too. No matter how far I travel, I’m still just an Aussie bloke who somehow turned my stories into a career. I’m looking forward to bringing this show back where it all started – and keen to perform in some places I’ve never been before!”
From globally streamed stand-up specials to acclaimed television work, Jefferies has built a reputation as one of the most recognisable comedians of his generation.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Friday 20 February at 11am local time, with general public tickets available from Monday 23 February at 11am local time. For tour and ticket information, visit www.jimjefferies.com or www.teglive.com.au.
