Ska-punk veterans Less Than Jake are heading back to Australia and New Zealand this October and November, lining up a run of shows under the Circus Down Under banner.
For local fans, it’s a familiar and welcome return. The Florida outfit has built a strong connection with Australian crowds over the years, and it shows every time they tour. Packed rooms, loud singalongs and a loose, high-energy atmosphere have become part of the deal whenever they hit town.

Formed in Gainesville, Florida in 1992, they’re known for blending punk energy with brass-driven melodies. They became one of the defining acts of the third wave ska movement and have remained a consistent presence in the global punk scene ever since.
Across more than 30 years, Less Than Jake have put together a catalogue that sits right at the core of ska-punk. Their live sets tend to cover all corners of that history, mixing early material with later releases while keeping things tight, punchy and unpredictable enough to stay interesting.
They won’t be doing it alone either. Joining the tour are The Aquabats!, known for their offbeat and theatrical live shows, alongside Detroit’s The Suicide Machines, who bring a faster, more direct punk edge into the mix. It’s a lineup that leans into both sides of the genre, from playful to full throttle.
The tour lands in Melbourne on Monday 2 November at the Forum Theatre.
Pre-sale tickets kick off on Tuesday 14 April at 9.00am local time, with general sale following on Wednesday 15 April at 9.00am local time.
