Australia’s most reliable beer-powered export, Cosmic Psychos, are back with album number twelve, I Really Like Beer, dropping Friday, November 7. True to form, they’re not sitting around waiting for a fuss – the tour kicks off the very same day. No easing in, no polite lead-up. Straight into it.
The record was hammered out on tape with Paul Maybury at Secret Location Studios, slotted in between Knighty’s vineyard graft and CFA callouts. The result? Exactly what you’d hope for from the Psychos: raw, loud, stupid in the best way, with the odd pearl of wisdom smuggled beneath the distortion. The first taste, “I Like Beer,” is a sloppy love song to the frothy stuff, complete with a video that’s as unhinged as you’d expect.
To celebrate, they’re taking on one of the most ridiculous tours this country’s ever seen — 40 dates through the sticks, running deep into 2026. Think RSLs, community halls, pubs that smell like last night’s schooners. The kind of rooms where the walls sweat as much as the crowd.

The slew of dates they’ll play across Victoria includes shows in Frankston, Castlemaine, Richmond, Queenscliff, Beechworth, Belgrave, San Remo, Balnarring, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Torquay and Tarwin Lower.
Joining them: Dan Peters (yep, Mudhoney and Nirvana) behind the kit for the first half, and BC from Dune Rats bringing youthful chaos for the second. Two drummers, one marathon. Good luck topping that.
As if that wasn’t enough, Knighty’s launching a new podcast, How Ya Goin?, equal parts mate-check-in and pub chat, with guests like Eamon Sandwith, Donita Sparks and Tim Rogers. Warm, messy, honest — just like the band.
