Melbourne’s dessert scene is about to get a major sugar rush. Dzert, Sandringham’s much-loved patisserie, is unveiling its most decadent project yet – Tiramisu Galleria – this Sunday, October 12. The concept is simple but brilliant: Melbourne’s largest selection of tiramisu, reimagined as an edible art gallery.
Inside Dzert’s Bayside shopfront, rows of glass cabinets gleam with twelve flavours of the Italian classic, each presented like a miniature masterpiece. Ten will remain year-round, while two rotating specials will debut each month. It’s a celebration of creativity, craft and Melbourne’s ongoing love affair with coffee-soaked, mascarpone-laden indulgence.

The line-up includes The Original Piece -a traditional espresso-dipped savoiardi with silky mascarpone and cocoa – alongside inventive newcomers like Golden Biscoff Crumb, Limoncello Zest, Hazel Nutella Eclipse and Pistachio Impression. October’s limited-edition flavours, Zen Layers and Honeycomb Haven, add a playful touch with matcha and caramel notes.
Each slice is $8.90, or $34 for a pack of four, and $49.50 for six. The desserts are all halal-friendly and egg-free, with only one containing alcohol, making them an inclusive treat for all ages.

Owner Maria Laranas says Tiramisu Galleria was born from a desire to reinvent a timeless dessert for modern Melbourne. The display invites diners to browse and choose their flavour like an art collector selecting a favourite piece. It’s dessert as theatre — tactile, visual and deeply satisfying.
Beyond its visual appeal, Tiramisu Galleria taps into Melbourne’s evolving food culture: small-batch artistry, approachable luxury, and a touch of whimsy. From afternoon pick-me-ups to special celebrations, it’s designed to be an experience as much as a dessert.
Located at 5 Waltham Street, Sandringham, Tiramisu Galleria officially opens October 12 — and if Melbourne’s sweet tooth is anything to go by, it won’t be long before the queue winds down the street.
