Augie March fans are in for a rare treat next April, with the band set to perform their beloved 2006 album Moo, You Bloody Choir in full for the first time.
The anniversary tour, announced as the record approaches its twentieth year, brings the indie rock favourites back to stages in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane for a celebration of the album that became an Australian classic.
In Melbourne, they’ll be playing at The Croxton on 10 April 2026.

Moo, You Bloody Choir arrived with a warm, melancholic glow and quickly found its place in the national songbook. One Crowded Hour became a defining moment for the band, topping triple j’s Hottest 100 and signalling a shift in their sound. The full album, rich with folk, pop and poetic rock, unfolded across 14 tracks that moved from delicate acoustics to soaring arrangements, earning Platinum status and the Australian Music Prize.
The band’s memories of recording are as vivid as the music itself, from long stretches on tour to unexpected moments in Chicago’s Tenderloin district. They describe their legacy as understated, overwrought and completely unique in the Australian and world cultural landscape.
For Augie March, this anniversary tour is more than nostalgia. They see it as a chance to explore the enduring mystery that complete bodies of work carry, promising shows that are powerful, intimate and full of connection. Fans can expect the album in full, favourite tracks and the unmistakable warmth that has defined Augie March for nearly three decades.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on 2 December, with presale registrations now open. The band say they are feeling ready to revisit the album’s sprawling and melodic world, sharing that they are a better equipped bunch to tackle the record than when it was first released.
