Passengers on V/Line services across regional Victoria will be able to display tickets on their smartphones from this month. Minister for Public and Active Transport Gabrielle Williams has announced a new eTicketing option to make V/Line journeys easier for patrons of the regional services. The new electronic ticketing option will be available from Wednesday 18 September and will enable passengers to access their ticket via SMS or email when they make reservations for long-distance train or scheduled coach services.
