Adam Spencer and Wil Anderson are set to tour a comedy show across Australia. The pair were the co-hosts of the Triple J breakfast show in the early 2000s and hung up their headphones in 2004.
After they ended their radio gig they toured a show called The Last Time. Their “The First Time (In A Long Time) tour marks the 20th anniversary of their final radio show together.
The two beloved broadcasters are promising the show will be a journey back to the early 2000s “for a night of stories, comedy, music, news and whatever other memories they can piece together.”
Anderson said: “Working with Adam on triple j in the early 2000s are some of my fondest memories and that is just the stuff I can remember. I can’t wait to be back onstage with Adam talking about the old days, and hopefully he can fill in some gaps for me.”
Spencer said: “I don’t look a day older than I did in 2004 … because I was absolutely trashing my body back then and already looked 50! Join us as we relive the memories – in fact feel free to prompt our memories and we will take it from there.”
The pair will bring their show to Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre on 26 October 2024. Tickets go on sale Thursday 29 August.
