Red tracksuit? Check. Self-deprecating honesty? Always. Fatherhood? Apparently, yes. Comedian Daniel Muggleton is back on the road in 2025 with a new national tour that’s bigger, bolder—and maybe a little more heartfelt.
You May Be White, I May Be Crazy sees Muggleton hit 35 shows across seven states and territories from September to December, bringing his signature mix of whip-smart crowd work and brutally relatable humour to city centres and unexpected regional gems alike.
He’ll be bringing the show to several locations in Victoria including Seaford, Geelong, Melbourne, Ballarat, Warrnambool and Lilydale.
“Hello, I’m Daniel Muggleton, I’m the guy,” he declares. “Unlike previous years, there’s a chance this show is about something… If I had to choose a word to describe what that is, I’d say ‘family,’ but remember, the Fast & Furious franchise is also about family, so there’s an equal chance this show is about street racing or about me finally becoming a father. Cheers.”
Fresh from becoming a dad for the first time, Muggleton wrestles with the awkward beauty of parenthood and masculinity in 2025. “We had a son, which I didn’t want because it’s now my responsibility to teach him how to be a man and I don’t know what that means in 2025.”
There’s also a dig at expat identity. “Living overseas is a great experience because that’s how you learn what’s Australian and what’s normal – which isn’t necessarily the same thing.”
