Scottish rock favourites Travis will return to Australia in January 2026, marking their first tour here in almost a quarter of a century. The band will perform their landmark 1999 album The Man Who in full, alongside hits from their three-decade career.
It will be the group’s first Australian visit since 2001, when they played two sold-out shows at Sydney’s State Theatre and Melbourne’s Regent Theatre. This time, fans can expect a full national run, with dates announced for Fremantle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.
Melbourne fans will be able to catch them at Festival Hall on Saturday 10 January 2026.

Released in 1999, The Man Who became the record that defined Travis, spending nine weeks at number one in the UK and selling more than 2.7 million copies there. Certified platinum in Australia, the album produced enduring Britpop-era classics Why Does It Always Rain On Me?, Driftwood, Turn and Writing To Reach You. Its success not only transformed Travis into global headliners but also laid the groundwork for bands like Coldplay and Keane, both of whom cited them as an influence.
Travis formed in the mid-1990s out of the Glasgow School of Art, with Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop and Neil Primrose becoming one of Britain’s most reliable hitmakers. Following their debut Good Feeling in 1997, the band scored consecutive UK chart-toppers with The Man Who and 2001’s The Invisible Band, which featured Sing, Side and Flowers in the Window.
Over time, Travis have continued to release critically acclaimed albums including 12 Memories (2003), Where You Stand(2013), 10 Songs (2020) and most recently L.A. Times (2024). Renowned as a formidable live act, they have graced festival stages from Glastonbury to Coachella.
Tickets are expected to be snapped up quickly after such a long absence. Artist and Mastercard presales open Tuesday 23 September at 2pm, with Live Nation presale following on Wednesday 24 September at 2pm. General sales begin Thursday 25 September at 3pm via livenation.com.au.
