Fresh from delivering a high-energy performance at the AFL Grand Final, proud Yolŋu artist Baker Boy has announced a national tour in support of his forthcoming sophomore album, DJANDJAY.
Arriving Friday 10 October via Island Records Australia, the record is named after Baker Boy’s late grandmother and the Yolŋu spirit guide she shared her name with. The album reflects the artist’s growth both musically and personally, weaving together culture, storytelling and his signature blend of hip hop and Yolŋu Matha.

The tour will see Baker Boy bring his vibrant live show to stages across the country in 2026. Victorian fans can catch him at The Barwon Club in Koornoo/Barwon Heads on Friday 17 April, followed by a headline show at Northcote Theatre in Naarm/Melbourne on Saturday 18 April. Both dates promise the mix of positivity, rhythm and cultural pride that has earned Baker Boy acclaim nationwide.
“This is my strongest, most powerful work yet,” Baker Boy said. “Pip and Rob gave me the space to be honest — to share my message without fear. Having them there was like a protective shield. It let me get vulnerable and real.”
Known as the “Fresh Prince of Arnhem Land,” Baker Boy has carved out a unique space in Australian music, balancing infectious beats with messages of resilience and empowerment. His shows are renowned for their inclusivity, high-energy dance and joyful connection with audiences.
Pre-sale tickets for the DJANDJAY tour go live at 10am AEST on Thursday 3 October, with general on-sale beginning Friday 4 October at 10am AEST. Full ticketing details are available via Baker Boy’s website.
