After more than three decades of dreamy indie pop, dancefloor classics and genre-defying albums, legendary UK group Saint Etienne are preparing to farewell Australian and New Zealand audiences with one final tour this November and December.
The beloved trio recently revealed that their 2025 album International would serve as their last studio release, closing the chapter on one of Britain’s most influential and enduring pop acts.
Released in September last year, the album was met with widespread acclaim, returning the group to the UK Top 10 and reminding fans exactly why Saint Etienne remain such a treasured name in music.
Australian fans will get the chance to hear the band’s iconic catalogue live once more when the tour arrives in Melbourne on Thursday 26 November at Forum Melbourne.
Formed in 1990 by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs, Saint Etienne quickly gained attention with their reworking of Only Love Can Break Your Heart before vocalist Sarah Cracknell joined the group and helped define their unmistakable sound. Albums including Foxbase Alpha and So Tough cemented their place in British music history, while tracks like Nothing Can Stop Us, He’s On The Phone and You’re In A Bad Way became staples of 90s pop culture.
The farewell tour will also visit Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, alongside dates across New Zealand.
