The Mornington Peninsula is leaning into its reputation as Victoria’s wellness capital this winter, with three of the region’s biggest bathhouse destinations joining forces for a special World Bathing Day experience.
To celebrate World Bathing Day on 22 June, Aurora Spa & Bathhouse, Peninsula Hot Springs and Alba Thermal Springs & Spa are launching the limited-edition Peninsula Pass, giving guests access to all three venues across two days for $150.
Running across the Winter Solstice on Sunday 21 June and World Bathing Day on Monday 22 June, the pass is designed to encourage visitors to slow down, soak up the region’s thermal bathing culture and make a winter escape out of it.
Only 100 Peninsula Passes will be released, with the experience offering entry to each venue’s signature bathing rituals and thermal pools. The collaboration marks the first time the three wellness destinations have partnered on a combined offering.
World Bathing Day is a global event celebrating the ritual of bathing and its role in relaxation, connection and wellbeing. With geothermal springs, open-air pools and spa experiences all within easy reach of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula has become one of Australia’s most popular cold-weather wellness destinations.
The launch of the Peninsula Pass also comes as winter tourism ramps up across the region, with visitors encouraged to extend their stay and explore local wineries, coastal walks, cafés and accommodation while visiting for the event.
Whether it’s soaking in mineral-rich thermal pools under the stars, moving between hot and cold therapy experiences or simply escaping the city for a quiet reset, the two-day pass is shaping up as one of the peninsula’s standout winter offerings.
Bookings for the Peninsula Pass open from 10am on Thursday 4 June here.
