Melbourne’s summer festival calendar is about to get a major new addition, with Belgian-born electronic festival CORE officially announcing its first-ever Australian edition at Flemington Racecourse this November.
Landing at The Nursery inside Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 28 November, the globally touring festival promises a full-scale immersive experience blending electronic music, large-scale visual design and underground club culture in an open-air setting.
The Melbourne debut marks CORE’s expansion onto its fifth continent after previous editions across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Organisers say local demand has already exceeded expectations, with the Australian launch generating the strongest early interest the festival has seen to date.

Leading the lineup is a huge back-to-back set from Australian electronic favourite Mall Grab and UK producer Effy. They’ll be joined by a stacked roster that includes Honey Dijon, Moodymann, TSHA and Dino Lenny.
The festival will also revive its Mano stage for only the second time in CORE history following its Los Angeles debut. Focused on heavier underground sounds, the stage lineup includes Kobosil, Daria Kolosova and several back-to-back collaborations featuring international underground talent.
In another notable move, CORE Melbourne is partnering with Humanitix, the Australian ticketing platform that directs booking fee profits toward education initiatives and charitable programs.
Pre-sale registrations are open now, with pre-sale tickets available from Friday 5 June at 9am ahead of what’s expected to be a fast sellout.
