Wine lovers will have the rare opportunity to experience three of the King Valley’s acclaimed wineries around one table this August, with an exclusive dinner bringing together winemakers, premium wines and locally inspired food for a one-night-only event.
Three Wineries One Table will see La Cantina, King River Estate and Red Feet Wines join forces at the Whitfield Recreation Reserve on Saturday 1 August, offering guests the chance to sample 12 wines while hearing directly from the people who made them.
Rather than travelling between cellar doors, the unique event brings all three winemakers together for a shared dining experience, with each presenting two wines and sharing the stories behind the varietals, vintages and the distinctive King Valley terroir that shapes them.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to share with our guests the diversity in wine varietals, and terroir of the King Valley,” said Damien Star, winemaker at Red Feet Wines. “You don’t often get three winemakers sitting at the same table telling their wines story together usually that’s an individual wine dinner experience.”
Each wine will be paired with a specially created small plate from INeeta Cafe, resulting in six carefully matched courses designed to showcase the flavours of both the food and the region’s cool-climate wines.
The dinner comes at a significant time in the winemaking calendar, with this year’s vintage recently settled into tank while preparations for the 2027 vintage are already underway in the vineyards. That timing gives guests the chance to hear firsthand reflections on the season while the experience remains fresh in the minds of the winemakers.
