Radiohead are finally heading back to Australia, with the British rock legends announcing 16 shows across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in May and June 2027.
The band will play multiple Melbourne shows at Rod Laver Arena as part of their first Australian tour in 15 years, following their last visit in 2012
The Australian tour begins with four shows at Perth’s RAC Arena from Monday 3 May before moving to Melbourne and then Sydney, where the run will finish with a sixth show at Afterpay Arena on Tuesday 1 June.
The return follows Radiohead’s comeback to live performance in Europe in late 2025, when the band ended a lengthy touring hiatus with a series of residencies in November and December.
Formed in Oxfordshire in 1985, Radiohead features Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway. The band has released nine studio albums, including OK Computer, Kid A, In Rainbows and A Moon Shaped Pool.
Their most recent album, A Moon Shaped Pool, arrived in 2016, and there is currently no new record announced alongside the Australian tour.
The band’s catalogue has continued to attract listeners during their years away from the road, with their music spanning everything from alternative rock to electronic, orchestral and experimental sounds.
Radiohead will also use the Australian tour to support environmental causes, with $2 from every ticket donated to Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society. The band will match the total raised through the ticket contribution.
Fans will need to register for the ticketing process, with every registration made during the registration period treated equally.
