This spring, Fed Square invites you to pause, take a deep breath and press RESET. From 1 September to 6 October 2025, the free, family-friendly RESET Festival is back, blending sustainability, creativity and community in a month-long celebration of living lightly on the planet.
RESET offers an inspired program of interactive events, immersive art, music, nature-based play, and hands-on workshops designed to reconnect us with the environment, with each other, and with the small habits that make a big difference.

As Melbourne Arts Precinct CEO Katrina Sedgwick says, “Spring is the perfect time to take a breath, rethink and discover sustainable techniques to reduce waste, connect with nature and embrace greener living – all through RESET’s fun, family-friendly events.”
From muddy play and circular fashion to tree planting and zero waste markets, there’s something for all ages and energy levels. Bupa’s Roger Sharp adds, “RESET highlights the essential connection between the health of people and the health of our planet, while reinforcing that everyone has a part to play.”

Don’t miss RESET’s opening weekend, featuring Nocturnal Worlds, a haunting soundscape of Australian night creatures. Later in the month, look out for Zero Waste Festival (6 Sept), Clean Up World Day (19 Sept), World Rivers Day (28 Sept), and a brand new large-scale textile installation by artist Sangeeta Sandrasegar, suspended in The Atrium.
Kids will love events like the Big Toy Swap (2 Oct), Earth Children (20–23 Sept) and the fabulous Mini Beast Disco (30 Sept–2 Oct) with Betty Grumble and Dandrogyny. Fed Square’s Outdoor Cinema returns too, screening eco-themed favourites daily at 3pm, including Future Council, FernGully, Wolfwalkers and Shrek.

Cap it all off with rooftop bee tours, plant-dyeing workshops, talks with urban greening experts and the lush Test Garden installation. Whether you’re climate curious or creatively inclined, RESET is a joyful reminder that change can start with something small—and feel really, really good.
