Melbourne Museum is once again set to thrill and chill this Halloween, transforming the iconic cultural landmark into a hub of spooky fun for all ages. On 31 October, the museum offers a unique blend of family-friendly adventures and eerie adult thrills, making it the city’s ultimate Halloween destination.
Halloween at Melbourne Museum is all about offering a unique mix of family-friendly fun earlier in the evening, before our late night grown-up focused programming. We’re blending our scientific expertise with the excitement of Halloween to create a one-of-a-kind celebration,” said Lynley Crosswell, Museums Victoria director & CEO.
Families can enjoy a host of frightfully fun activities including trick-or-treating, face painting, science shows, collectible skeleton cards, and a scavenger hunt.
Meanwhile, adults can explore ghostly tales and a haunted history experience, with a grown-ups-only zone opening from 8pm featuring eerie surprises for the brave.
For those seeking an extra dash of excitement, the Full Moon package offers fast-track entry, exclusive LEGO Star Wars-themed experiences, and specially curated Halloween show bags filled with museum-themed goodies. VIPs will gain access to the immersive Full Moon Experience, promising thrills, chills, and a chance to skip the queues.
Event times include Early Entry from 5.30pm for family-friendly programming, the Full Moon Experience from 5.30pm–7.30pm, and Halloween at the Museum continuing until midnight, with kids-only zones until 10pm and adults-only zones from 8pm.
