Underworld, Geese and Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos will headline Golden Plains Nineteen, with the independent music festival returning to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from 6 to 8 March 2027.
The newly announced line-up spans electronic music, rock, experimental sounds and desert blues, with the second ticket ballot now open until 10.19pm AEDT on Monday 19 October.

Electronic duo Underworld will bring four decades of dance music to the festival, with a catalogue featuring Born Slippy (Nuxx), Dark & Long and Two Months Off. Brooklyn four-piece Geese will also perform, following growing acclaim for their albums 3D Country and Getting Killed.
Peter Garrett will reunite with former Midnight Oil guitarist Martin Rotsey as part of The Alter Egos, with a set expected to draw from Midnight Oil and Garrett’s solo material.
Other international acts include Tuareg group Tinariwen, Canadian-born London DJ Peach, Québécois duo Angine de Poitrine and Catalan experimental artist Maria Arnal. Australian performers include Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon and Yirendali emcee Kaninna, alongside Immy Owusu, Shock Corridor and daine.
Golden Plains will again run its single-stage format, with free-range camping, BYO and no commercial sponsors. Every ticket also supports local organisations in the Golden Plains district, while the festival takes place on Wadawurrung Country.
Tickets are allocated through the ballot system, which organisers introduced in 2007 to give subscribers a fairer chance of attending without the usual online ticket scramble. Successful applicants receive tickets covering parking, camping, booking fees and access to the Meredith Eye.
The second ballot closes at 10.19pm AEDT on Monday 19 October, with more acts still to be announced. Enter the ballot and find the full line-up at https://goldenplains.com.au/.
