Donut lovers are in for a full weekend of indulgence as the Melbourne Donut Festival returns to Queen Victoria Market on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June, bringing a stacked lineup of local makers, global flavours and over the top creations that push the humble donut well beyond its comfort zone.

Across two days, more than 20 traders will serve everything from classic jam filled favourites and cinnamon sugar rings to mochi donuts, Greek loukoumades, Italian zeppole and experimental savoury hybrids that blur the line between snack and full meal. Expect queues, sugar highs and plenty of decision fatigue.
This year’s new traders are adding serious variety to the mix. Kare Melbourne is bringing Japanese inspired nama donuts alongside its cult beef curry pan. The Puff Puff Stand is dishing out West African style puff puffs loaded with pistachio, panna cotta and chocolate.

Mr Zeppole is going both sweet and savoury with traditional Italian versions plus an anchovy twist, while Demochi Donuts is serving chewy mochi donuts in flavours like matcha, pandan and strawberry. Alonso’s is leaning into full dessert excess with Biscoff and Dubai chocolate creations, Pretzel Station is fusing donuts and pretzels, and Cherub’s Bakd Donut is bringing everything from apple crumble to gooey cheese filled options.

Returning favourites are just as bold. Pasta Face continues its cult run with hot honey chicken parma donuts and mac and cheese hybrids, while Crème Brûlée Donuts bring their signature caramelised tops. Shortstop Coffee and Donuts returns with refined classics, St Gerry’s is serving syrup soaked loukoumades, and G Free Donuts ensures gluten free visitors are well looked after.
Alongside the food, visitors can expect entertainment, market energy and plenty of photo moments across the weekend. Whether you are chasing a classic sugar hit or something wildly experimental, the festival is set to satisfy every kind of donut craving in Melbourne.
