Country music star Megan Moroney is heading back to Australia, with the Nashville singer-songwriter set to bring her Cloud 9 Tour to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena in May 2027.
Moroney will kick off her Australian headline run in Melbourne on Saturday 8 May before heading to Sydney on Tuesday 11 May and Brisbane on Friday 14 May. She will be joined by fellow Nashville singer-songwriter Laci Kaye Booth across all dates.
The return comes after Moroney made a strong impression on her last Australian visit, appearing at the 2025 Ridin’ Hearts Festival before a Brisbane headline show sold out within minutes.
The upcoming tour follows the release of Moroney’s third studio album, Cloud 9, which has taken the singer into another chapter of her rapidly growing career.
She first broke through with Tennessee Orange, the five-times platinum No. 1 hit from her 2023 debut album Lucky. Her follow-up album, Am I Okay?, delivered another major run of success, including the two-times platinum title track and platinum-certified No Caller ID.
Cloud 9 has continued that momentum, featuring songs including 6 Months Later, Beautiful Things and Wish I Didn’t, alongside guest appearances from Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves.
Moroney was also named Album of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards, adding to a growing list of accolades for the country star.
Joining her in Melbourne will be Laci Kaye Booth, who recently toured Australia as a special guest of Morgan Evans. Booth released her debut album The Loneliest Girl In The World in 2024 and is preparing to release her third album, Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart, on 18 September.
