Bendigo Airport’s new terminal and business park has been officially opened. The terminal-which is approximately four times larger than the previous building-includes new check-in facilities and departure lounge, upgraded restrooms, provision for future security screening, and an indoor arrival area and baggage collection. The project also features a 183-space carpark along with an expanded apron that can fit two 70-seat aircraft, allowing the airport to include new airlines and future flights to new destinations. A brand new Ferris wheel is set to open in Melbourne next week, promising views of the city. The new wheel will be at the Polly Woodside Park in South Wharf, next to the Melbourne Convention an Exhibition Centre, where it will be in operation for six months. Moon Dog Craft Brewery’s hotly anticipated new Footscray venue – Moon Dog Wild West – is set to open its doors inside the former Franco Cozzo building today at 11:30am. The venue was originally supposed to open two weeks ago, which had to be postponed. A second attempt to open last week had to be abruptly canceled at the last minute over a fire hydrant safety issue.
