Cult favourite Lebanese charcoal chicken merchants, El Jannah, are set to open FOUR new stores across Melbourne.
The new stores will be in Dandenong, Niddrie, Kensington and Ferntree Gully. These new locations join the existing raft of El Jannah stores that have taken over Melbourne in recent years at Preston, Mitcham, Pakenham, Cragieburn, Campbellfield, Broadmeadows and Bayswater North.
El Jannah first hit the Melbourne scene just two years ago, with one store in Preston and people can’t get enough of it. It’s been a fixture in Sydney since 1998 with its iconic chickens cooked over open charcoal fire, famous garlic sauce and other sides.
The first cab off the rank with the new stores will be in Dandenong this weekend and they’re celebrating by offering $5 chicken meals on the opening day – 27 April. You can grab a quarter chook, garlic sauce, chips and drink for five bucks.
The other new stores are slated to open in June.
El Janah’s Dandenong store will be located at Shops 1–3, 26 Princes Highway, Dandenong.
