The 2023 Melbourne Cocktail Festival kicks off on Monday – a week long celebration of all that’s good in the world of delicious mixed drinks across our fair city.
Now in its fourth year, the festival is set to impress both tourists and locals alight as they explore the city’s vibrant cocktail scene.
The major feature of the festival is its Bar Safari – participants are taken to a selection of the city’s finest drinking houses, including laneway bars, rooftops and some hidden basement gems.
More than 40 bars across the city are taking part in the Bar Safari this year – providing bespoke cocktails for just $15 for festival participants. You can go along on a pre-planned route, or create your own.
The festival also has a huge lineup of other events, from cocktail and plate pairing sessions through to hands-on masterclasses, pop-ups and bar take overs.
The 2023 Melbourne Cocktail Festival runs from 18-24 September.
