Take a delicious journey from farm to fork as the Secret World of Food arrives at Melbourne Museum just in time for the King’s Birthday long weekend.
Kids can dive into an interactive food adventure designed to ignite their curiosity about where food comes from. Presented by VicHealth and Museums Victoria, this immersive experience lets children collect stamps in their food passport as they explore each stage of the food cycle.
Start by picking fresh produce, load it onto a truck, sell it at the market, cook up tasty dishes in the kitchen, and help the worms by composting leftovers.
The activation runs from 11am to 3pm on select dates in June, including the long weekend. Don’t miss out on this hands-on exploration of food education at Melbourne Museum’s Ground Floor Foyer. Admission is included with entry to the museum: Adults $15, Seniors $10, and Children (up to 16 years) enter for free.
